On 17 and 18 September Brussels is home of the 21st EPA Conference. This is one of the premier events for the mobility and parking industry. Monit Data is proud to be exhibiting at, and be a sponsor of the conference.
Every two years the European Parking Association (EPA) conference and exhibition is held. This year the 21st edition will be hosted in Brussels. The event welcomes more than 500 delegates from over 32 countries, including public and private operators of parking facilities across Europe. The event brings the opportunity to learn of all new developments in parking, with many workshops and the exhibition floor where you can find the latest solutions and products from industry vendors. The EPA conference is also a great event for policy makers, industry experts and suppliers to meet and network.
Reshaping Urban Space
The theme for the 2025 EPA Conference is “Reshaping Urban Space – Delivering sustainable parking management and mobility solutions.” This conference addresses the challenges our urban space is facing. Cities in Europe are working towards a more liveable and ‘green’ urban environment. At the same time economic development and accessibility for residents and visitors place demands on policy makers.
Sustainable mobility solutions is one of the answers to these challenges. And parking policies prove to be one of the most powerful and cost-effective tools in shaping mobility choices. As parking plays a pivotal role in shaping the cities of the future, this year’s EPA Conference will have a more interactive and collaborative format to encourage innovative solutions. Attendees can meet and exchange knowledge in more workshops and networking opportunities.
The EPA awards
At the EPA conference the winners of the 2025 EPA Awards will also be announced. The EPA Awards celebrate excellence in parking. There are awards for different categories, such as ‘Best New Parking Structure’ or new categories as ‘Best Approach to Smart Mobility’. This year Monit Data was included as ‘Best Innovation in Parking’. This showcasing Monit’s experience and contribution in using parking data for data-driven holistic parking management to create better urban environments. Especially highlighted was the innovative use of scan car data tot create reliable and cost-effective parking occupancy reports.
